While I haven’t been able to reduce my carbon footprints as much as I would like to, I do prevent some amount of plastics from going back into the trash by reusing bottles as much as possible. Juice bottles become future homes for home cleaning materials and especially for this particular brand- Ecosys. This Mumbai-based company has introduced a minimalistic, eco-friendly product on the market and one which doesn’t weight heavily on your wallet.

I’ve been using their floor cleaning capsules and I’ve had a pretty good experience with it. During Covid, my go to floor cleaner was either Dettol or Savlon mixed with water but with things easing up on the pandemic front somewhat, I have cut down on the number of Dettol bottles which come into my home.

I have been consistently using the Ecosys Floor Cleaner in one liter juice bottles and it lasts for a good amount of time as well.

The process is very easy. Each pack of floor cleaner contains 6 small capsules. Drop all 6 into a one liter bottle and fill it up and watch the capsules dissolve in a few minutes. Add 2 cap fulls to 5 liters of water and mop the floors. There’s a mild smell and the floors look clean as well.
